MR. Lorenzo Marquez Gamboa

ROCKY MOUNT – Lorenzo Marquez-Gamboa, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.  Born in Zacatecas, Mexico on August 10, 1960, he was the son of the late Enrique Marquez and Josefina Gamboa Marquez.

Lorenzo is survived by his children, Lorenzo Steven Marquez (Claudia), Fernando Eric Marquez, Moises David Marquez (Veronica), Alejandro Christian Marquez (Andrea), Roberto Fabian “Bobby” Marquez (Glenda), and Guillermo Angel Marquez (Shae); his 16 grandchildren; his siblings, Mariana Marquez, Gerardo Marquez, Imelda Marquez de Macias, Graciela Marquez, Francisco Marquez, Constantino Marquez, Maria de Lourdez Lopez, Jose A. Marquez, Angelina Marquez, Adela Marquez, and Marco A. Marquez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.  Visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.
