William Aubrey Batts

William Aubrey Batts, 60, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2001, at Nash General Hospital. He was born June 28, 1940 in Wilson County, to the late Robert and Reba Bell Batts. William was a retired production supervisor with Naomi knitting. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Hilda S. Batts, of the home; five sons, Rayme Batts, Danny Batts, both of Rocky Mount, Billy Batts of the home, Randy Driver and Michael Ryan Rouse, both of Wilson; six daughters, Tina Davis and husband, Mike, of Rocky Mount, Lisa Bass of Enfield, Tammy Joyner, Kim Batts, both of Rocky Mount, Shannon Kemp and husband, Robert, of Wilson, and Ronna Joyner of Nashville; one brother, Robert Batts Jr. and wife, Jean, of Enfield; two sisters, Vernell Proctor and husband, R.S., if Rocky Mount. Sylvia Hughes and husband, Jim, of Kitty Hawk 15 grandchildren.
Family will recieve friends at 133 E. Tarboro Road, Rocky Mount. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2001, at 11:00a.m., at Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Groce Robinson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
