William Asbury “Bury” Hendricks went Home to be with his Lord and Savior early Wednesday morning, October 14, 2026 at the age of 71.

A Celebration of Bury’s Life will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at Sunset Avenue Baptist Church, 3732 Sunset Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with interment to follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor his remarkable life prior to the service from 1:30pm to 2:45 pm in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Sunset Avenue Baptist Church.
