Sheila Gupton Barefoot

Sheila Gupton Barefoot, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Born in Nash County, NC on April 13, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Ray Gupton and Mel Grace Bowen Gupton. She was also preceded in death by her son, Billy Ray Childers.

Sheila loved her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed fishing and going to the beach. Sheila would help family or friend that needed a helping hand. She was a loving mother, sister, and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sheila is survived by her son, Terry Childers of Rocky Mount; her sister, Deborah Hinton of Rocky Mount; her brother, Gary Gupton of Winston-Salem; and her nephew, Gary Hinton of Rocky Mount.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
