Mr. Samuel Preston Turner

Samuel Preston Turner, 86, passed July 3, 2026. He was born September 17, 1939 to the late Preston and Eula Turner. He is also preceded in death by several sisters.

Samuel leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 66 years, Janice Turner; sons Samuel Turner Jr., Benji Tuner and wife Tammy; granddaughter Deborah Sullivan and husband Roger; great grandchildren Reid and Colton Sullivan; sister Bertha Patterson.

A visitation will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will follow in the chapel at 1:00pm with Rev. Rick Downing officiating. The burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
