Obituary for Pansy Hoggard Bedgood
Pansy Hoggard Bedgood, 89, passed away Saturday, July 18 at Community Hospice in Vidalia, Georgia.
She was born in Rocky Mount, NC September 6, 1930 to Clarence & Mattie Pridgen Hoggard.

She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 60 years Eddie Lee Bedgood, as well as her daughter Gail Bedgood Thomas. Her brothers, Harvey Hoggard, Steve Hoggard, and Jake Hoggard, and sister, Peggy Hoggard Patterson.

She is survived by her daughter, Leenae Johnson of Collins, Ga. Grandchildren, Hal Thomas, Jr of Rocky Mount, AME2 Bryson Johnson USN, and wife Heather of Reno, Nevada, and Allyson Johnson of Statesboro, Ga. Her sister, Winnie Hoggard Petway of Wilson, NC, and brother, Rudy Hoggard of Marion, NC.

Pansy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rocky Mount since age 13. She had lived in Rocky Mount until April of 2019, when she moved to Georgia to live with her daughter Leenae.

Visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 1:00-1:45PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home with memorial service at 2:00PM in the Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
