Ora Lee Pendergrass Alford

Ora Lee Alford, age 84, passed away at her home Thursday, January 31, 2019.

She was born in Nash County, NC December 18, 1934 to Herbert and Elizabeth H. Pendergrass. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Arthur Alford; sons, Joseph and Art Alford; and siblings, Bud Pendergrass, Donald Ray Pendergrass, Becky Roberson, and Debbie Pendergrass.

Ora Lee leaves a loving family that includes three children: David Alford (Lori) of Nashville, Kathy Alford Smith (Herb), and Teresa Alford (Craig), all of Red Oak; siblings: Molly O’Neal of Morehead, Louise Wilson of Nashville, Brenda Leonard (Randolph) of Castalia, Wayne Pendergrass of Castalia, and Randy Pendergrass (Beverly) of Florida.

She also leaves ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
