Maidie Lee Bishop Boseman

Maidie Lee Bishop Boseman was born on September 25, 1928, to James Melvin Bishop and Larcy Bishop, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 1, 2021.

Maidie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her son, Lyman Bruce Boseman, her husband, Lyman Hoggard Boseman, and her sister, Julia Bishop Condit.

She is survived by her son, Joel M. Boseman (Jean), her daughter, Nancy B. Griffin and her sister-in-law, Joyce B. Bunn. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Wayne Boseman (Gretchen), Mark Boseman (Allyson), Sally B. McClure (Kyle), Anna G. Hill (Jay), Katie B. Corey (Lee), Allison G. Williams (Matthew), and Jackson Boseman. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, Caleb Hill, Micah Boseman, Silas McClure, Millie McClure, Griffin Williams, Clay Corey, Warren Hill, Max McClure, Fletcher Williams, Ricks Boseman and Sam Corey.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to St. John’s Episcopal Church Building Fund at P.O. Box 577, Battleboro, NC 27809.

At Maidie’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. The family will have a private burial. Cremation handled by Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville, NC. Many thanks to Elsa Berrocol and Steve Lynch for their care and dedication to Maidie.
