Lois Ann West

Lois Ann Williams West, 71 passed away Monday, April 20, 2009. She was born in Nash County August 7, 1937 daughter of W.T. Williams, Jr. and Edith P. Williams.
Lois was retired from Abbott Labs and was a member and pianist of Shenandoah Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband. E.B. West of the home; mother, Edith P. Williams of Nashville; daughters, Wanda Britton of Lasker, Deborah Dorsett of Nashville; step-daughters, Charlotte Wells of Tarboro, Vickie Driver of Pilot, Krista Winklepleck and Ellen Goforth both of Douglasville; sons, Milton Chappell of Braidwood, IL, Michael A. Chappell of the home; sister, Faye Warren of Clayton; brother, W.C. Williams of Nashville; nineteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Lois was preceded in death by her father, W. T. Williams, Jr.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home and other times at the home of Deborah Dorsett.
