He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Webb; brother, Frank Webb and brother-in-law, Jesse Simpkins, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost forty-seven years, Brenda S. Webb; son, Thomas Webb Sr.; mother, Florence Webb; brother, Bruce Webb (Joella); sisters, Teressa Bass (Ronnie) and Donna Adkins (Ricky); brother-in-law who was more like a son, Mickey Simpkins (Theresa); brothers-in-law, Travis Holt and Dallas Simpkins; sisters-in-law, Sandy Quinonez (Roberto), Debbie Simpkins and Angela Simpkins; mother-in-law, Paulette Holt and father-in-law, Jesse Simpkins (Freda). Lester was a proud “Ganpapa” to his adored grandchildren, Coraline Webb, Alexander Webb and Thomas Webb Jr. He will also be missed by close family friend who was thought of as a son, Jesse Wallace along with several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

From a young age, Lester was interested in mechanical work, including taking apart and fixing his mother’s sewing machines. Later in his childhood and with the guidance of his father, he could be found at the garage washing parts and learning how to repair cars. He quickly became fascinated by their moving parts and inner- workings, leading him to a career at Kaba Ilco Corp as an industrial maintenance mechanic. Throughout the years, Lester gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in diagnosing and repairing various issues, ultimately perfecting his craft, being able to fix anything.

Lester was also a devoted member of Full Gospel Praise and Worship church where he served as a deacon until he became ill. He had a true servant’s heart and would help anyone that he could. Lester was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also had a passion for firearms and Ford cars and trucks.
