Lester Best

Lester Gregory Best, 66, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023. He was born September 17, 1956 in Nash County. He was preceded in death by parents Harry and Retha Peeden; his brother T.W. Best and brother-in-law, Paul Viverette.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 37 years, Deborah Osbourne Best; daughters, Ashley Best Earp and Brandi Nicole Best; sister, Deborah Best Richards (Jim) and Cheryl Viverette; grandchildren, Cassidy Lynn Earp, Cameron Ryan Sanders, Torrie Lynn Sanders, and Christopher Blake Wolfe.

Visitation with family and friends will be Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 2:00-2:45pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held at 3:00pm in the Chapel. Entombment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Chapel of Memories.
