Karen Baker

Denise Karen James Baker, 51, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023. She was born May 12, 1971 in Nash County to the late George James and Joyce Ann Smith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Cindy and Rita Gail.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband , Tim Baker; three sons, Eric (Brittany) Wischhusen, Jason Williams, and Daniel Wischhusen; two daughters, Elizabeth Frazier and Angela Adams (Tyler); brothers, Kenneth Keen (Melissa) and Jim James; sisters, Bonnie Keen Baker, Georgette Williams, and Ashley James Lee; seventeen grandchildren.

A visitation with family and friends will be Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2:00-2:45pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home with a memorial service to be held at 3:00pm in the Chapel with Rev. Daniel Moss officiating.
