  1. Sending my most sincere condolences to the Ray family. Mr. Ray was my high school principal at Eastman High School, Class of 1979. I also had the opportunity to work with him at the Central Office in Halifax County until he retired. I have so many fond memories of him from Eastman and other community functions and activities. He was a great support to Halifax County Schools and surrounding communities. His footprints will forever be engrained in the hearts of all that knew and loved him. Keeping each of you in prayer during and after this trying time. May he now rest from his labor.
