John Solomon Williams

John Solomon Williams, 79, retired farmer, died Sunday.
Funeral Tuesday 2pm at Johnson Funeral Home chapel, Rocky Mount with the Rev. Bruce Walker officiating, assisted by the Rev. Richard Collins. Burial in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday night from 7-9o’clock, and other times at the home 3509 Winstead Road.
Surviving: wife, Mrs. Lucille Perry Williams; four sons, Boice Williams of Greenville, Douglas Perry Williams and Kenneth Alton Williams, both of Fort Worth, Texas, and Donald R. Williams of Rocky Mount; one daughter, Mrs. Jackie W. Jackson of Rocky Mount; one brother, Levy Williams of Sharpsburg; four sisters, Miss Pearl Williams of Sharpsburg, Mrs. Dovie Williams and Mrs. Nora Nelms, both of Rocky Mount, and Mrs. Martha Disharoom of Salisbury, Md.; 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
