Mr. Joe Ben Johnson

Joe Ben Johnson, 80, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025. He was born July 7, 1944 in Nash County to the late Ben and Ida Lancaster Johnson. Joe was also preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Lee Johnson and brother-in-law, John Burgess.

He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Joseph Lane Johnson and wife Jennifer; daughter, Sheila Dawn Daniels and husband Mike; sisters, Linda Campbell (Donald) and Louise Burgess; grandchildren, Bailey Lane and Taylor Chase Johnson, Cameron Ray (Priscilla), Corbin Miles, Amanda Dawn, and Conner Daniels; great-grandchildren, Paislea Lane Johnson, Austin and Jaxson Daniels; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation with family and friends will be Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 12:30-1:45 pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Allen Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
