Hershal Herbert Braswell

Mr. Hershal Herbert Braswell, 84, died Wednesday, January 31st.

Mr. Braswell, born in Johnston County, was the son of the late Joseph A. Braswell and Virginia Pearce Braswell and the widower of his wife of 55 years, Carole Moore Braswell. He was also preceded in death by a son, John Patrick Braswell and a brother, Graham Braswell.

He served honorably in the United States Army, until his retirement after 22 years as a Master Sergeant working as a White House Communications Agent. Following his military service, he went onto work for Louisiana Pacific Lumber Company in Nashville until his second retirement.
