Eleanor Joyce Williams

ROCKY MOUNT – Eleanor “Joyce” Elks Williams, age 74, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Born in Wayne County, NC on June 27, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Elks and Ellen Smith Elks. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Robert Earl Williams; and her infant brother.
Joyce leaves behind to cherish her memory; son, Robert “Robbie” Earl Williams, Jr., and wife, Jessica, of Knightdale; and daughters, Stacie Weeks and her fiancé, Jeff Truax, of Rocky Mount and Tammy Womack and husband, Rusty, of Benson. She is also survived by grandchildren, Devin Evans and his fiancé, Becca Wilkins, Kelsey Chambers, David Williams, Dylan Williams, Dakota Williams; one great-grandson, Lukas Chambers; sister, Doris Jones of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Chapel on the Hill Mausoleum.
The Family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
