Mr. David Lee Taylor

David Lee Taylor, 78, of Nashville, NC, passed away on October 17, 2026. Born on March 2, 1948, he was the son of the late Albert Taylor and Betty Taylor.

David was a lifelong farmer whose heart was always tied to the land. He loved being outdoors, tending to his garden, and growing the vegetables that brought him joy season after season. A devoted John Deere enthusiast, he took pride in his work and the simple, honest life he lived. His dogs were constant companions, and his family was the center of his world. Above all, David deeply loved his wife, Linda, and carried that devotion with him throughout his life.

He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Taylor, and one brother, James Earl Taylor.

Along with his parents, David is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Taylor; three sisters, Marie Boykin, Mary Elizabeth Collins, and Ruby; and one brother, Roy Taylor.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on October 21, 2026, at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
