Carolyn Duke Alford

Carolyn Alford passed away on Sunday, March 4,2018 at home. Carolyn was 85 years old and was born on April 11, 1932 in Wilson, NC to the late Russell Duke and Selma Duke. Carolyn was married to the late Julian Glynn Alford of Rocky Mount, NC.

A service to Celebrate Carolyn’s life will be help on Sunday March 18, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel on the Hill at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. 4454 Dortches Blvd. in Rocky Mount.

Carolyn, was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her southern cooking, but most of all she cherished her family. Carolyn will be missed dearly and she will never be forgotten.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Carlton Alford of Macclesfield; daughter Robin Curdts and husband Jeff Curdts of Cary; two grandsons, Julian Alford of Goldsboro and Collin Curdts of Cary; and sisters Charlene Duke of Whiteville,Brenda Duke of Alabama; two brothers, Howard Duke of Greensboro, and George Duke of Ohio.
