Barbara Ann Bishop

Barbara Ann Shearin Bishop, 57, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 2, 2023. She was born April 16, 1966 in Nash County. She is preceded in death by her father, William Shearin; father-in-law Wayne Bishop.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 35 years, Mike Bishop; sons Michael Bishop and wife Ashley; grandchild Eleona Skye Bishop; Reid Bishop and wife Logan; daughter Abigail Taylor-Mae Bishop; adopted son Dean McCurry Jr. and wife Lyndsey; adopted grandson Jacob McCurry; mother Gail Shearin; brother William Shearin and wife Cathy; mother-in-law Margie K. Bishop; several nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A visitation will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Living Faith Fellowship. The service will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Ramon Mizelle, Rev. Danny Harris, Rev. Marty Warren and Rev. Ken White officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Abigail’s Thailand Mission Trip by sending donations to Living Faith Fellowship 1090 W Mount Dr. Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
