Angela Linnette Alston

Ms. Angela Linnette Alston, 53, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina transitioned on April 2, 2020 at UNC Hospitals located in Chapel Hill, NC.

Ms. Angela Linnette Alston was born October 12, 1966 in Nash County. She was the daughter of the late Leonard Alston Senior and Almeta Alston. Angela entered her season of eternal peace on Thursday April 2, 2020.

She received her high school diploma from Northern Nash Senior High in June 1985. Angela was employed with Phizer for 22 years.

She a member of Word Tabernacle Church.

Angela proceeded in death by father, Leonard Alston Senior and sister Margaret West.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons Damaz Alston of Rochester, NY, Brandon Avent of Sharpsburg NC four grandchildren Za’Niya of Greensboro,NC; Iyana Alston Rochester NY, Mahogany Jones of Rocky Mount, Kazmier Avent of Sharpsburg NC and Damaz Alston Junior due to be born on 07/7/20; four sisters Clara Richardson (Horace) Oxenhill Maryland, Evelyn Knight (Greg) of Rocky Mount NC; Annette Cooper and Natarshia Alston both of Rocky Mount NC. Two bothers Leonard Alston (Janice) of Nashville NC and Leroy Alston (Sandra) of Enfield NC and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Visitation will be held for Ms. Alston on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home. The Interment will immediately follow the visitation beginning in the Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
