Mr. William David Lewis

Bill was born June 16, 1958, son of the late Charlie Richard Lewis and Margie Rebecca King Lewis. He was a 1976 graduate of Northern Nash High School. Mr. Lewis was a hard worker and was employed as a lineman for over 40 years. He had a huge personality and enjoyed making people laugh. His joy was found in riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle while listening to classic rock or country music and fishing and hunting. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending quality time with them. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew Shannon Webb.

Survivors include his four children, Blake Lewis of Fort Myers, Florida, Jake Lewis also of Fort Myers, Florida, Alexis Lewis of Maynardville, Tennessee, and Katie Lewis of Supply, North Carolina; grandchildren, Hailey, Corbin, Riley, Mackenzie, Madelynn, and Emery; sisters, Bonnie Webb and Phyllis Lamm; nieces and nephews, Lisa Webb, Karen Hill, and Mark Lamm; numerous extended family and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 8, 2025 from two o’clock in the afternoon until four o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, NC. Burial will be Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at eleven o’clock in the morning at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
