Willard Christopher Perry

Willard Christopher Perry “Chris” passed away peacefully, Sunday March 1, 2020. He was born December 27, 1947 to the late Jessie Willard Perry and Dorothy Pridgen Perry of Rocky Mount, NC. He was proceeded in death by four siblings; Tony Perry, Dallas Ray Perry, Dink Perry and Ann Perry. Chris is survived by three sisters; Barbara Perry Barnes, Betty Perry Andrews both from Rocky Mount, NC and Evelyn Perry Davis (Joe) of Bush, LA.

He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Chris worked alongside his father at CSX Railroad as a Pedy Boom Operator until his father retired. He then learned and loved to work with all types of wood working materials and enjoyed roofing until he fully retired. He was a master at finding things no one else could find with his metal detector or spotting it out by his hawk eyes. A good cigar was his favorite pastime while watching his westerns.

Visitation with family and friends will be Monday, March 9, 2020 from 6:00-7:30PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville. A graveside service will be Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 2:00 pm Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
