Welford Lee Winstead

Welford L. “Bill” Winstead, 57, operator of Winstead Mobile Terrace, died Tuesday.
Surviving: wife, Mrs. Loretta Joyner Winstead; one daughter, Mrs. Cathy W. Barnes of Rocky Mount; one son, Gregg Lee Winstead of Rocky Mount; one brother; Carlton Winstead of Momeyer; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle W. Perry of Adelphi, Md., Mrs. Margaret W. Bordas of Berwyn Heights, Md., Mrs. Helen W. Baines of Momeyer and Mrs. Judy W. Stallings of Vienna, Va.; four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home chapel, Rocky Mount, with the Rev. David Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, or at the home, 2620 Cool Spring Road.
