Mrs.. Victoria Ann Cockrell Collins

Victoria Ann Cockrell Collins, 85, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025. She was born June 27, 1940 in Nash County NC to the late Russell and Gladys Deans Cockrell. She loved her family, her church West Mount Baptist where she was a charter member, choir member and dedicated Sunday School teacher. Victoria became Gigi when great-grandchildren were born. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Collins; son, Jack Collins, Jr; three sisters and three brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter-in-law, Terry Collins; brothers, Bennett Carlton Cockrell and Waylon Cockrell (Linda); grandchildren, Jacy Collins (fiancé Kent Brown) and Lindsay Johnston (Andrew); great-grandchildren, Delilah and Daphne Johnston, David Brown.

A visitation will be Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 1:30-2:15pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home with funeral service to be held in the Chapel at 2:30 pm with Carlton Cockrell officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
