Ulysses Samson Pridgen
December 31, 1900 ~ January 20, 1974
Ulysses Samson (Bud0 Pridgen, 73, died Sunday in a Nash rest Home.
Son of the late John Hardy and Cora P. Pridgen, he was husband of Mrs. Annie Pittman Pridgen, who survives of the home.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Perry and Mrs. Lettie Pridgen of Rocky Mount; one son, J.D. Pridgen of Rocky Mount; six sisters, Mrs. Maggie Smith, Mrs. Iva Davis, Mrs. Mattie Baker, Mrs. Elsie Parker, Mrs. Cora Davis and Mrs. Lethar Barnes, all of Rocky Mount; six brothers, Johnny Pridgen, of Nashville, Willie Pridgen, Zollie Pridgen, Noah Pridgen, Alex Pridgen and Vee Pridgen, all of Rocky Mount; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. from Johnson Funeral Home Chapel by Elders D.B. Stokes and William L. Everette.
