Obituary for Truett Alton Kea
Truett Alton Kea, Jr. 68, of Nashville, NC was promoted to Heaven on December 22. He was born August 10, 1950 to parents Barbara Coley Kea and Truett Kea, who predeceased him. He was office manager of Cargocare Transportation Company for forty years, a charter member of Englewood Baptist Church and longtime member of Ridgecrest Worship Center. He was known for his outgoing personality and was an avid collector of memorabilia. He is survived by his wife Sandra, sister Allison and husband Phil Sikes, brother Bruce and wife Janet, niece Holly Blythe, special cousins Miriam Pridgen and Robert Sykes among many other loving family members. Visitation will be held at Ridgecrest Worship Center Wednesday, December 26, at 1:00 with memorial service following at 2:00. Presiding will be pastors Kelly Shope and Tony Bossolono. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Special thanks go to the staffs of the Rocky Mount Dialysis Center and Nash UNC Health Care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
