Troy Beatrice Davis Jr.

Troy Beatrice Davis, 74, passed away January 7, 2019. He was born in Edgecombe County to the late Troy B. Davis Sr. and Mary Barnes Davis. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Judy Davis Shearin. He loved spending time with family and family cookouts, riding his side by side and going to church at North Rocky Mount Church of God.

Troy is survived by his sons, Troy B. Davis III and fiance Penny Anderson, Jason Davis, James Crocker and William Kenneth Ferrell; daughter Nancy Rose(Scott) and Lynn Corbett; ex daughter-in-law Joy Crocker; grandchildren, Grayson, Kristina, Zane, Brent, Emily, Michael, Travis, Dustin, Noah, and Gracie; sisters, Inez Sykes and JoAnn Barber(Stoney).

The visitation will be held at 10:00 am on January 12, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with the service following at 11:00am with Pastor Jerome Mozingo officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will meet other times at the home.
