Spencer Rex Leonard

Spencer Rex Leonard, 79, passed away October 16, 2020. He was born in Nash County on June 1, 1941 to the late Louis Ellen Leonard and Bettie Lee Hawkins Leonard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Jimmie, Clyde, and Steven Leonard.

Spencer leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters Amy Leonard and Tammy Leonard; grandchildren, Ava and Brayden Leonard; brothers Plummer Leonard (Tempie) and Randolph Leonard (Brenda); sister Bettie Leonard; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

A visitation will be held at 5:00pm on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The service will follow at 7:00pm in the Chapel with Rev. Albie Brice officiating. The burial will be held at 11:00am, on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
