Shirley D Pendergrass

Shirley Ann Davis Pendergrass, 73, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016. She was born in Wilson County on March 27, 1943 and was the daughter of George W. Davis and Nellie Worrell Davis.

She is survived by her sons, Donnie Holland (Helen) of Elm City and Chris Pendergrass (Lily) of Nashville; grandsons, Caleb and Jacob Holland and Travis and Matthew Pendergrass; sister, Jean Drake (Jim) of Scotland Neck; brother, Phil Davis (Dawana) of Red Oak; special friend, Bill Fenn, and former husband, Wayne Pendergrass of Nashville.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7 at Memorial Baptist Church, 5399 Old Wilson Road, Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
