Obituary

Sandra Louise Forbes Bazzle, age 73, of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Sandra graduated from Rocky Mount Senior High School and Parkview School of Nursing. She was an accomplished registered nurse, and one-on-one patient care was her passion. Sandra retired from the Operating Room at Nash General Hospital.

Sandra has always been an active member of her church. From Sunday school teacher to choir member, sharing God’s love with others was her true calling. Sandra’s love for Jesus was visible to anyone who knew her. She believed in His saving grace, His forgiveness of our sins and His promise of salvation. Sandra’s walk with Christ created a lasting heritage of faith to those who knew her.

Sandra fiercely loved her family. She was completely dedicated to them, loving them unconditionally and with her whole heart. She cherished her time with each one of them and counted these moments as gifts from God.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents Elton and Bessie Ruth Forbes, her sister Betty Jean Radford and one granddaughter Elizabeth Lauren Huffman.

She is survived by her husband Kenn Bazzle of the home, three daughters: Donna Bazzle Stone of Clayton, Leigh Bazzle Norfleet Odom of Pinetops and Crystal Bazzle Huffman of Wallace, 7 grandchildren, one brother Elton Forbes of Beulaville, one sister Patricia Wayt of Thomasville.
