Rupert Hobbs

A funeral for Rupert Hobbs, 66, of Rocky Mount who died Wednesday will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Flora King Hobbs; four sons, Gerry of Virginia Beach, Va., Harold K. of Nashville, Russell and William Hobbs, both of Rocky Mount; three daughters, Mrs. Silvia Orren of Wellington, Tex., Mrs. Judy Harrell of Faison and Mrs. Janet Lewis of Tarboro; one brother, Odis Hobbs of Clinton; four sisters, Mrs. Mattie Prevatte of Lumberton, Miss Vernon Hobbs of Clinton, Mrs. Edith Hinson of Dunn and Mrs. Eleanor Pope of Turkey; 15 grandchildren.
