Ronnie Eugene Powell

Ronnie Eugene Powell, age 8, drowned Wednesday in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:30 p. m. from Johnson Funeral Home chapel by Major Robert Butler. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Surviving are his parents, Joe and Mary Ann Proctor Powell, formerly of this city; one brother, Joey Powell of the home in Colorado Springs; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. 0. L. Proctor of Rocky Mount; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Merle Anderson of Rocky Mount; a paternal great grandfather, I. J. Powell of Rt. 2, Rocky Mount; a maternal great-grandfather,, Henry Standford of Jonesburg, Ga.
