Mr. Ronald Wayne Williams

Ronald Dwayne Williams, known as Ron, passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2025.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on September 6, 1945, to the late John G Williams and Mathie Speight Williams. He is preceded in death by his siblings: Chalmers, Lois, Don, Shirley, Mary, Johnny, Madeline, James, Lily May, John Wesley, and Blunt.  He is also preceded in death by his son John, and granddaughter, Heather.

Left to cherish his memory and mourning his great loss is his wife, Jenny, his sister, Martha Keel; his children Duane, wife, Ekaterina, her son Alexii Cady; Tambre Thomas, husband Gerald; Kristy Harper; his stepdaughter, Kellie Holmes, her husband Scott, and daughter, Grace Kathryn.  He is also survived by his grandchildren: John, Jr., Cameron, Holland, Henry, Ivey Larkin, Jake, as well as many other nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

Ron was a warm and caring friend and attentive to the small things that make loving relationships. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a man with purpose when it came to his family and his professionalism with his career. Ron had a passion for helping people, and through sharing his words of wisdom with others, he was just a joy to be around. He loved walking the dogs whenever he had the chance. He loved coffee in the morning and was about routine. He would go to the ends of the earth to help others, was an exceptional husband, and especially attentive to the comfort and wishes of Jenny and family. Ron spent many years in a successful sales career with high performance, was an extraordinary salesman and sales manager, and known to have a positive attitude, to be a hard worker, and a friend to many.  Ron had a welcoming attitude toward meeting new people and never knew a stranger.  Ron has touched many lives during his time with us and will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Services will be held October 25, at 11:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Rocky Mount, NC.
