Reginald E Sherrod

Reginald Earl Sherrod, 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday June 11, 2007.
He was born on November 8, 1929, to the late Tommie and Betty Boone Sherodd of Nashville. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beulah Sherrod Hodges, and brother Elgia Sherrod.
Being a dedicated member of the Spring Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church, he served in many such as Deacon, Superintendent, Secretary and Treasurer, Missions Director, and Trustee. His love and compassion for his Lord was a tremendous inspirations to all who knew him. He is survives by his wife of 59 years, Goleta Earp Sherrod; one son, Edward Earl Sherrod and wife Kathy of Nashville; two daughter, Jackie Sherrod Jones and husband Dwught of Elm City, Elaine Sherrod Reaves and husband Bill of Wilson; three grandchildren, Stephen Jones and wife Mandy, Amanda Jones Riddle and husband Darrell, and Lauren Reaves; brothers Jerridan, Wesley and Curtis Sherrod all of Rocky Mount, Hassell Sherrod of Richmond, Virginia ; sisters, Mable Sherrod Purvis and Mary Sherrod Wilkes both of Rocky Mount.
Visitation will be held and Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home on today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will also be held at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will follow at R ocky Mount Memorial Park. Arrangements made by Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, N.C.
