Peggy Proctor

ROCKY MOUNT – Peggy Medford Proctor, age 83, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018. Born in Oak City, NC on October 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Medford and Emily Brown Medford. She is predeceased by her sons, Johnnie Baker, Jr. and Jeffery “JB” Baker. She is also predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.
Peggy leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of 17 years, Grady Proctor of Rocky Mount; daughter, Vicky Baker Batchelor and husband Jerry of Nashville; son, Ricky Baker of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister in California and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
