Patricia Faye Walker Hendricks

Patricia Faye Walker Hendricks, age 74, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021. Born in Nash County, NC on September 29, 1946, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Walker and Elsie Mae Mosely Walker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Hendricks; her brother George Walker, Jr.; and her sister Rosa Mae Joyner.

Patricia is survived by her sons, James Vernon Finch (Penny) of Rocky Mount and James Paul Finch (Teresa) of Smithfield, VA; her grandchildren, Jamie Messer (Thomas), Dillon Finch, Aaron Finch, Hunter Finch, and Jack Finch; her 3 great grandchildren; and her sisters, Betty Braswell (Dennis) of Rocky Mount, Shirley Finch of Rocky Mount, Janice Hall (Scott) of Nashville, Lynda Cash (Michael) of Houston, TX, and Diane Matthews (J.T.) of Battleboro.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
