Obituary for Neppie “Irene” Casto
Neppie “Irene” Casto, 89, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020. She was born in Nash County September 5, 1931 to the late Johnnie Roscoe and Betsy Jackson Harrell. Irene loved her family and was a member of Tabernacle of Praise for 20 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Casto, Jr.; a daughter, three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by daughter, Donna Narron (John), grandchildren Roger,
Romey, Yvonne, Jennifer and Joey; twenty one great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren; brother, Bennie Harrell (Carol); sisters Helen Rayner; Christine Peace (Doug) and several nieces and nephews. A special Thank you to Irene’s caregivers Connie, Myra and Lester.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 4-6:00 PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held Monday, November 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Ray Vick officiating.
