Myrtle L Pridgen

Myrtle Leen Pridgen, 88, passed away Saturday December 31, 2016. She was born April 29, 1928 in Nash County to the late Benjamin and Pearl Narron Pridgen. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, V.V. Pridgen; sisters, Mattie Williams and Doris Burgess Hall; rothers, Buddy, James and Junior Pridgen.
Myrtle leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Ray Pridgen, Bruce “Buck” Pridgen(Wanda) and Randy Pridgen(Kathleen); sisters, Mary Elizabeth Batts, Betty Mae Hawley and Bobbi White; brothers, Jack and Bill Pridgen; grandchildren, Donnie, Missy, Chad and Ben Pridgen, Tiffany Condril, Devon Braswell and Marcus Joyner and 12 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday December 3, 2017 at Parkwood Baptist Church with Pastor John Scott officiating. A visitation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
