Monroe Tant

Monroe Tant, 74, passed away Sunday December 25, 2016. He was born January 25, 1942 in Franklin County to the late Mack and Jane Pearce Tant. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by Agnes Boone Tant, wife of 41 years and six brothers and four sisters.

Monroe leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 8 1/2 years, Jeanne Holland Tant; sons, Jeff Tant(Tanya), Mike Tant (Michelle) and Ricky Tant(Faye); grandchildren, Carmen Price, Chassidy Cunningham, Brandon, Garrett, Bethany and Tyler Tant; and great grandchildren, Abygail Price, Aliyah and Aniyah Cunningham.

Visitation will be held 6-8 pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11:00 am at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Coggin and Rev. Titus Anderson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Flowers accepted or donations made to Corinth Baptist Church
