Millie P Pittman

Millie “Dillie” P. Pittman, 91, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2004. She was born December 25, 1912, in Nash County, the daughter of the late William A. Pittman and Josephine Lancaster Pittman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob L. Pittman; by two sisters, Eula P. Worrell, and Estelle P. Eason; and by two brothers, William A. Pittman and J. Leslie Pittman.
She is survived by four sisters, Ethel P. Harris of Sandy Cross; Bertha P. Boswell of Cary; Louise P. Eason and Alice P. Dickens both of Rocky Mount; brother, John Robert Pittman of Bunn; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2004, at Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home with the Rev. Dempsey R. Winstead officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2004, at the funeral home and other times at the home of Ethel P. Harris, 5259 Sapony Creek Drive, Nashville, NC 27856.
