Melissa Ann Everette

Melissa Ann Everette, 37, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012. She was born in Rocky Mount NC on September 18, 1975 to Mary Ann Gotowala and Jimmy Everette. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, J.D. Everette.
She leaves to cherish her memory, four children, Isaac Winstead of Morganton, Christopher Tinder of Pinetops, Thomas Valentine and Lainey Overton of Rocky Mount; mother, Mary Ann Gotowala; brother, Talon Gotowala; three sisters, Kristy Radford, Jenna Gotowala and Hope Gotowala, all of Clayton NC; and father, Jimmy Everette of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by maternal grandparents, Thomas and Joyce Overton of Rocky Mount; paternal grandmother, Emma Gray Mosley; two uncles, Randy Overton and wife Karen, and Michael Overton and wife Cathy, all of Battleboro NC. She will also be missed by several cousins as well as other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7:00pm to 8:30pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home and other times at the home of Thomas and Joyce Overton. A service to remember Melissa will be held at 2:00pm Thursday afternoon in the funeral home chapel with Bobby Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
