Mary Ramsey Warrick

ROCKY MOUNT – Mary Catherine “Cathy” Ramsey Warrick, age 65, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023. Born in Nash County, NC on May 13, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Archie McNeil Ramsey, Jr. and Grace Kannervorf Ramsey. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Warrick Hill; and her brother, Thomas “Tommy” Ramsey.

Cathy retired with Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. after many years of dedicated service. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Cathy was a frequent volunteer for both the Edgecombe and Wilson Schools. She loved and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Cathy will be missed by all who knew her.

Cathy is survived by her husband, James Warrick; her daughter, Elizabeth Harding (Gerald); her grandchildren, Kelsey Drischler (David), Tyler Seese (Gabby), Hannah Seese (William), Amber Hill, Daniel Harding, Brittany Sireci (Chris), and Brianna Barrett; her six great-grandchildren; her sister, Minnie Frances Ramsey; her brothers, Joseph “Joey” Ramsey, Larry Ramsey, Charles “Chuck” Ramsey, and John “Johnny” Ramsey; and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service to celebrate Cathy’s life will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Pastor Gary Wood officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and at other times at her granddaughter’s home, 246 Powell Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801.
