Mae Bunn Taylor

Ms. Mae Bunn Taylor the widow of Jesse Taylor passed away at her home in Rocky Mount on October 20, 2012 at the age of 87. Mae retired from Barcalounger. She is preceded in death by her sister Lucille Wilder and brother Jake Bunn. Mae is survived by her two sons: Allen Bunn and Jimmy Taylor; three daughters: Carolyn Barefoot, Sandra Shearin and Gail Shearin; two brothers: Ellis Bunn and Cordell Bunn; three sisters: Elsie Draper, Ruby Hopkins, Sheby Jean Winstead and Louise Lewis; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson
A celebration of life service will be held at 2pm Oct. 22, 2012, in the Chapel of Johnson Funerals & Cremations with the family receiving friends one hour before the service. The entombment will follow in the Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lung Association.
