Luther David Pridgen

Luther David Pridgen, 68, retired carpenter, died Friday.
Surviving: wife, Mrs. Eva Hall Pridgen; four daughters, Miss Peggy Pridgen of the home, Mrs. Phillis Moss, Mrs. Brenda Rooks and Mrs. Sandra Pittman, all of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Woodruff and Mrs. Lucy Joyner, both of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home chapel, Rocky Mount, with the Rev. Jim Vickrey officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and other times at the home, 4421 South Halifax Road.
