LUCY T. MANNING
Lucy Talley Manning, 97, passed away Monday December 19, 2011 at Hunter Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation in Rocky Mount.
Mrs. Manning was born May 1, 1914 in Rabun County, GA to the late Henry Harrison and Minnie Green Talley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollin H. Manning and a son, Johnny A. Manning.
She was employed by Roses of Rocky Mount for many years and actually retired from Roses twice during her career.
Mrs. Manning is survived by her loving family, Daughters; Tempie Bobrowski (Clay) of Falls Church, VA, Betty Sullivan (Snookie) of Nashville, NC, Joan Manning of Carolina Beach, NC and Embra Pullen (Lee) of Rocky Mount, NC, Son; Ollin Manning, Jr. (Cathy) of Carolina Beach, NC, Daughter-in-law, Loleatta Manning of Nashville, NC; Sister, Lela Brown of Webster, FL, 10 Grandchildren and numerous Great-grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 7PM in the chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7 PM prior to the service. Committal services will be 11AM Thursday December 22, 2011 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
