Lola G Robinson

Lola Griffin Robinson, age 94, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017. She was born in Castalia, NC on July 13, 1923; Lola was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Griffin. In addition
to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years W.A. “Billy” Robinson, an infant daughter in 1959, and all four of her loving brothers.
Lola and Billy were blessed with son, Mike and wife Betty; and a daughter Kathy and husband Roscoe. She was also blessed with grand kids and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Lola graduated from Castalia High School and later worked at Mebane Shoe Store and as an Avon Representative for 44 years. She and Billy loved traveling with tour groups and attending Oakdale Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School Class and sang in the choir for many years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Oakdale Baptist Church Building Fund.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A private entombment will held for just family.
