Lois Horacene Joyner

Lois Horacene Tutt Joyner, 91, entered her heavenly home Sunday, April 22, 2018. She was born in Bexar County, Texas January 1, 1927 to the late Horace and Dora Walker Joyner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nils Woodard Joyner Sr., grandson, Christopher Joyner; brothers and sisters, Oren G., Mildred C., Curtis M., and Melba J. Tutt.

She is survived by her sons; Bobby Joyner (Arlene), Patrick T. Joyner (Terri) and Nils W. Joyner Jr. (Debbie); daughters, Jorene J. Mathias (Stan) and Nadine J. Prace (Terry); grandchildren, Michelle Mosley (Chris), Shaun (Christi), Scott (Stephanie), Nikki Joyner, Kristin J. Knox (Barry), Amy Hughes (J.E.), David Holder lll, Sean Holder (Lauren), Katie Byrne (Raymond), Hollie J. Lamm (Andrew), Dylan and Shayna Prace; and 16 great grandchildren.

In celebration of her life and their wedding anniversary a visitation with family and friends will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with a service following at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Baccus officiating.

The family would like to send out a special thanks to the extended family of caregivers; Shirley Irvin, Louise Pridgen, Rebecca Jenkins, Linda Benson, Vanissa Hall, Stephanie Williamson and Kristian Baccus.
