Linda Gray Coppedge

Linda Gray Coppedge, 75, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017. She was born in Nash County March 8, 1942 to Rev. Harvey and Elsie Edwards Coppedge. Linda loved her family, working with children at Galatia Baptist Church, along with helping people in her community. She also loved to
cook and prepare food for others. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Harvey Coppedge.

She is survived by her mother, Elsie Edwards Coppedge; brothers Calvin H. Coppedge, Terry J. Coppedge; a lifetime friend Marion Davis; nephews Brian and Jason Coppedge , and a niece Sarah Coppedge.

A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Dal Coppedge and Rev. Michael Edwards. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7-9:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
