Lettie Baker Nelms

Lettie Gray Nelms, 96, passed away September 28, 2023. She was born February 10, 1927 to the late Johnnie and Daisy Whitley Baker. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Lonnie, John and Ronald Nelms; husband Jim Nick Nelms.

Lettie is survived by her granddaughter Sandra Williams and husband Allen; three grandsons; ten great grandchildren; Special thanks to Janet Joyner for her weekly visits and friendship; Peggy Carwell for her visits and meals and Flossy Winstead for her daily phone calls.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Pastor Matthew Manning officiating.
